Detailed Description:

Join us for a lighthearted and fun transformative journey towards inner peace and the divine feminine with the "Symbols of She" mandala project! We will focus on a journey loosely based upon the herstoric Five Dakinis to bring strength, power, and transformation that manifest the feminine wisdom energy as it relates to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This will be our a guiding light in creating personal Mandala Symbols. Looking forward to sharing this session of relaxation, discovery and harmony for the mind, body and spirit.

This workshop will take place online.

With the guidance of Alissa Christine, you’ll participate in a session, featuring a mix of meditative moments, breath work, and interactive creative challenges that will inspire and reconnect you with your inner self.

Each participant will craft a mandala that represents their unique inner state and fosters a mindful journey towards well-balanced feminine energy. By incorporating an overview of the five dakinis, you will create healing-focused mandalas that set intentions for manifestation and promote self-reflection.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support each other, share inspirations, and cultivate a community of wellness-focused creatives.

No prior visual art experience required – All are welcome to explore the power of art as a tool for self-discovery and stress relief.

You may want to bring your journal or sketchbook if you have them.

***

Mandala means ‘circle’. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be used as an inner guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation. Mandala art therapy can help restore balance, inspire discovery and bring focus to peace and harmony.

The primary emblem of the feminine in Tibetan Buddhism is the dakini, or "sky-dancer," a semi-wrathful spirit-woman who manifests in visions, dreams, and meditation experiences.
